Welcome to the official Winter Festival of
Speed website. Lac La Biche has a long tradition of winter fun. Ice Fishing,
X-Country Skiing, Snowmobile Trails, Dog Sled Racing, and of course the Western
Canadian Ice Racing Championships are held right here in Lac La Biche again this
year. In addition to the car races, there are snowmobile drag races,
Motorcycle/Sidecar/Quad races, kids winter
carnival, and more!! The community of Lac La Biche invites everyone to come out
and enjoy this winterland extravaganza!
Last year was a blast! Everyone did very well and a good time was had by all. It
was exciting, with rollovers, crashes, and very, very fast cars, snowmobiles,
quads and motorcycles.
